Out of Office

Tonight my internet access at the hotel expires (I've been here a week!) and as we will be away all weekend and until Monday evening, I'm not going to recharge it now until Tuesday, probably.

So there will be a short intermission.

Tomorrow & Sunday: Jaipur

Monday: Agra

Is that where the Clemency comes from or is that just coincidence? I suppose if one goes back far enough we can find relatives with pretty much any name going.

I thought Cecilia had chosen Clemency as being a combination of Clementina (Best nee Pierpoint) and Cecily/Cicely (Batty Granny - who I think was Cicely like Ma - BMD records from her marriage to Leslie - need to get a copy of that marriage cert). Clementina was named for an Aunt.

I like being able to say "Mercy is my middle name". Perhaps I should be a judge.

And C always said that it was a combination of Clementina & Ce/ice/ily.

I have found a Janet elsewhere in the family tree (other than Ma's second cousin Janet Carter nee O'Malley who is not in the direct line).
Pa's grandmother Barbara Leys' mother's mother was Janet Gordon nee Coutts.i.e. my greatx3 grandmother and Livy's greatx4 grandmother.

Not found any other Livys (Livies?)yet!
