New Delhi Dawn

I'm up early (8am ish) to try to get kick started onto Indian Stretchable Time. Seems to be working so far. Other times I've made the journey I've arrived in the middle of the night, so sleeping until mid-late morning is the only possible way to get enough hours. This time I had a full night's sleep and (I hope) made up for the night before on the plane.

Nice to get up early and see the sun rise. It's really misty though - I just hope it burns off so we can go sightseeing.

Today the plan is to go to India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, Qtub Minar, Lodhi Gardens and then maybe some gentle shopping. People are coming to The Park Hotel tonight for the Saturday Night "Bop". Quite late. I may have collapsed by then. Falling asleep watching The West Wing (Season 7) on the DVD player / big TV.

Can you use Jantar Mantar to tell the time from your room though?

Hmmmm... I challenge you, in the style of Challenge Anneka ( horrid tracksuit et al ) to try!
